Parcklab Wielemans
‘Parcklab Wielemans’ in Forest is an experiment as part of the development of a new master plan. The project area includes a lot of undeveloped space: a kitchen garden, the Wiels Marsh and the banks of the Zenne on the Gerijsite. These areas are bursting with potential. Many infills are possible: parks, squares, playgrounds, relaxation areas, ecological development or kitchen gardens. Common Ground is coordinating the fourth phase of the master planning process, which involves testing concrete proposals on the site in co-creation with residents and stakeholders. The socio-spatial dynamics will be observed and analysed. In this way, the results from the previous phases of the study can be sharpened.
